in love with this book!

After a mini hiatus in London, England A Year of Mornings has found it's way back to my bookshelf thanks to my lovely friend Robin.

I'm rekindling my love with this book and it feels like the reunion of two soulmates. Dramatic, I know, but seriously. This book somehow has this way of making you feel connected with the world and more at peace. It documents a year of photos taken by two women who love mornings. They had only met once, live on opposite sides of the country, and they both have such a quiet, simple, refreshing style of seeing.

You really MUST buy this book. It will change the way you look at a bowl of oatmeal or a gingham napkin forever!

The only thing more exciting than the late night rendezvous between me and my book is the fact that last year they published A Year of Evenings and this August they released the first of a four part series of magazines called 3191 Quarterly.  HOLLA!
