As my friends begin to settle down and buy their first homes I find myself somehow reaping the benefits! This is a painting I was commissioned to create for a good friend of mine to hang in her first and newly renovated home.
I love the wall colour she chose and that it flows throughout her entire house. This smokey blue colour definitely inspired the painting as I felt I had to create something soft and peaceful.

This piece really encompasses who I am as an artist. It’s very natural and soft with a retro inspired textile thrown in.
It was great fun to create and hangs happily in Franny’s new digs!
