text in the city

Living in Toronto, Ontario I was constantly inspired by my surroundings. Whether it be from the simplicity of a walk through the park, the countless other artists and design concepts to absorb or the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there was always something to see.

I found myself constantly drawn to the text found throughout Toronto. Street signs, graffiti, license plates, restaurant signage, even an old newspaper trampled by busy pedestrians could be seen as beautiful through the right eyes. This outlook is what inspired a group of photos I took called Text In The City.

They embody the beauty in a sea of buildings and concrete, when sometimes we're too busy to stop and take a look around.
